How to Write a Frontend Developer Resume
A frontend resume should connect the interface you built with the user or business problem it addressed. Framework names matter, but they do not explain whether the product worked well. Describe how you handled usability, states, accessibility, collaboration, and quality.
What to do
-
Name the product area and feature you worked on. Include the tools that matter to the role, such as JavaScript, a framework, styling, or testing libraries.
-
Show how you handled details beyond a happy-path screen: responsive layouts, keyboard navigation, loading states, error messages, or tests.
-
Use measured outcomes when available, but do not invent conversion or performance gains. A shipped feature or resolved accessibility issue is also a concrete result.
Example
“Implemented a responsive account settings page, added keyboard-accessible dialogs, and wrote component tests for form errors” shows both feature work and care for quality.
A reviewer should understand the interface, your specific work, and how it helped users. If you claim better performance or accessibility, mention the measurement or concrete change behind that claim.
