A hyperlocal platform where restaurants, home cooks, grocery stores, and individuals share surplus food instead of wasting it. Connects food donors with receivers including NGOs, low-income families, or anyone nearby looking for free food. Built around the idea that surplus food is not waste, it is a resource waiting to reach the right person.

The Problem It Solves

Core Features (MVP)

Food Listings
- Post surplus food with title, photos, quantity, food type (veg, non-veg, packaged)
- Set expiry time and pickup window (e.g. available for next 2 hours)
- Tag the listing type: home cooked, restaurant surplus, packaged goods, raw ingredients
- Mark as free or pay-it-forward (receiver donates what they can)
- Edit or delete listing at any time
Proximity Feed
- Show all available food listings within a customizable radius (1km to 20km)
- Map view and list view toggle
- Filter by food type, distance, listing age, and donor rating

Claim and Pickup
- Tap to claim a listing (first come first served or manual approval by donor)
- Get turn-by-turn directions to pickup location via Google Maps
